These are a little out of time order so bare with me. I realize that I have not updated the blog in quite a while and I apologize. It has been very busy for the Skinner family. We moved at the first of december. I think this is the first year in a long time the Christmas tree wasn't up the weekend of thanksgiving. It was several weeks later. Does that mean I get to leave it up longer. Please don't ask Chad that question.

This first pic of our little man is on Christmas morning. He was kicken back on his Christmas stocking. (made special for him by his grandma)

Here is Madalyn with her backpack. If only you saw all of her presents.... Most of them involve Hannah Montana in some way or another. The hat she has on was made by her grandma along with a jacket and a scarf to match. Which I might add stayed on her for the remainder of the day!!!

Growing baby

Chad and I got the camera out and took pictures last night. It is hard to believe that my baby boy is 4 month old. He is growing so big. All the milestones he has already done ar so amazing!!!!
He is grabbing for objects, and we all know where it goes when he gets it, straight to the mouth.
He laughs, he's rolling, he sits good in his bumbo. I am loving watching him grow.

Look at the drool on his chin. Too precious. I am waiting for that first tooth. The amount of drool that comes out we should be getting a tooth soon.

He is talking away. Makes you wonder what he is thinking.

I am taking advantage of Conrad sleeping. Our computer has been not working and Chad fixed sit. Yipee. I am adding a few pictures to update you on the family. Madalyn has even shorter hair, I am no longer blond, Conrad is growing and changing so much, and Chad hmmmm, lets see. Oh yes he is still a wonderful husband that has not changed!!!!!

More of the past

You are going to need to read the previous post to really understand this one. So please bare with me and realize that my brain is only functioning at half of its capability. Its scary but I think going back to work along along with the lack of sleep has affected my brain function.

Going back in time

These are in random order just to warn you. This is a picture of Conrad(on the right) with some good friends of ours little girl, Olivia. This was taken while we were in Missouri. They were born 3 weeks apart. Doesn't it make you tired just looking at it? Or is it just me, the sleep deprived mother of a beautiful little boy.

This was on our way to missouri. If you look closely Conrad has a mohawk with the little bit of hair that he has. I just couldn't resist.

While we were in missouri our good friend Rhonda had the pleasure of cutting Madalyn and my hair. Between the two of us we had 22 inches cut off. Madalyn had 8.5 inches and I had 14 inches cut off. This is the first time in over 20 years that I have had short hair. And I love it. So does Madalyn. These 2 pics are the before and after of Madalyn.

From the beginning

I am now taking the time to sit down and start from the beginning.
This is minutes after Conrad made his way into the world. The nurse commented on how clean he came out. This is before his very first bath. Right after Daddy cut his cord.


This is Conrad getting his measurements. Mommy loved the fact that his head measured 14 inches!!!



He is a big 20 1/2 inches long! See the black mark on the blanket???

They had to keep Conrad in the nursery because his oxygen levels kept dropping. They finally brought him to me at 7:15 pm.



Here is the proud Grandma holding her grandson. My mom was there the entire time i was in the hospital. She only left to go home and sleep. I am thankful for my Mom. She has been a blessing and a BIG help since he was born. Thanks to her I have gotten extra sleep.



Here is the very proud big sister holding her little brother. She is such a big help. She loves her little brother soooooo much.



Big Sister got a special wrist band as well as baby brother. So gentle and sweet.
