My Baby is Almost One!!!!

Here are some pictures of Conrad's Party. His birthday isn't until tuesday.

I can't believe its almost been a year. He is such a blessing to our lives. He is such a

happy and easy going baby, such a joy to be around. Lets see what can I

tell you about him. He stated walking 2 weeks ago, wow. He is so fun to watch.

Just tonight we were watching video from when he started and now and we were

amazed at what he's doing in that 2 weeks.

What else.. Of course he can say ma ma and da da. and light. He growls and shacks his head for no. Which I might add is hilarious. Poor thing only has 2 teeth.

This first picture is with his cousin Katrina. He feel asleep just as the party was starting.

MMM yummy. I took us a little to get him interested in the cake. I actually had to put it in his mouth to get him to taste it, once I did that it was all over.

This is my favorite. The drool.

Getting tired. Don't know how with all that sugar.

Here is Madalyn on her 7th birthday at the zoo with her cousin Gabriella and our families. They had so much fun.

MMM.... Biter biscuts. He loves them. We dont usually have them unless its bath day.

He is my handsome boy. He will be 9 months old on tuesday. Wow how fast they grow. He finally taught himself to move, other than rolling around everywhere. Mind you that got him places, but now he cango in a straight line. He can army crawl. If he would just learn to use his kness instead of his toes he wouldn't get so frustrated. As of a couple weeks ago he was 20 pounds at the drs office. A little smaller than Madalyn at this age but she was a chunky baby. He is tall and thick. He loves his food. We started cereal at 4 months then added fruits and veggies. Now we are at stage 3 and have started some table food. He is not to fond of veggies but like his daddy, its food and he will eat it. This boy also has a set of lungs. That was the nice way of saying he doesn't shut up!!!!! Always with something to say. Madalyn used to be content to sit on my lap at that age. Not this boy. He wants to touch everything and see everything. Don't know if thats a boy thing, but I am scared when he really gets moven when he crawls.

These are a little out of time order so bare with me. I realize that I have not updated the blog in quite a while and I apologize. It has been very busy for the Skinner family. We moved at the first of december. I think this is the first year in a long time the Christmas tree wasn't up the weekend of thanksgiving. It was several weeks later. Does that mean I get to leave it up longer. Please don't ask Chad that question.

This first pic of our little man is on Christmas morning. He was kicken back on his Christmas stocking. (made special for him by his grandma)

Here is Madalyn with her backpack. If only you saw all of her presents.... Most of them involve Hannah Montana in some way or another. The hat she has on was made by her grandma along with a jacket and a scarf to match. Which I might add stayed on her for the remainder of the day!!!

Just got done eating... Soooo cute. He has learned how to blow rasberries when he eats.

Growing baby

Chad and I got the camera out and took pictures last night. It is hard to believe that my baby boy is 4 month old. He is growing so big. All the milestones he has already done ar so amazing!!!!
He is grabbing for objects, and we all know where it goes when he gets it, straight to the mouth.
He laughs, he's rolling, he sits good in his bumbo. I am loving watching him grow.

Look at the drool on his chin. Too precious. I am waiting for that first tooth. The amount of drool that comes out we should be getting a tooth soon.

He is talking away. Makes you wonder what he is thinking.

I am taking advantage of Conrad sleeping. Our computer has been not working and Chad fixed sit. Yipee. I am adding a few pictures to update you on the family. Madalyn has even shorter hair, I am no longer blond, Conrad is growing and changing so much, and Chad hmmmm, lets see. Oh yes he is still a wonderful husband that has not changed!!!!!

More of the past

You are going to need to read the previous post to really understand this one. So please bare with me and realize that my brain is only functioning at half of its capability. Its scary but I think going back to work along along with the lack of sleep has affected my brain function.

Going back in time

These are in random order just to warn you. This is a picture of Conrad(on the right) with some good friends of ours little girl, Olivia. This was taken while we were in Missouri. They were born 3 weeks apart. Doesn't it make you tired just looking at it? Or is it just me, the sleep deprived mother of a beautiful little boy.

This was on our way to missouri. If you look closely Conrad has a mohawk with the little bit of hair that he has. I just couldn't resist.

While we were in missouri our good friend Rhonda had the pleasure of cutting Madalyn and my hair. Between the two of us we had 22 inches cut off. Madalyn had 8.5 inches and I had 14 inches cut off. This is the first time in over 20 years that I have had short hair. And I love it. So does Madalyn. These 2 pics are the before and after of Madalyn.
